Inkbind for Claude

Inkbind turns a story, memoir, letters or recipes you wrote with Claude into a printed 8.5-inch (21.6 cm) square book, softcover or hardcover, printed one copy at a time by Lulu near the delivery address and shipped to the US, Canada, the UK and the EU.

Connect it

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
2. Enter the URL https://inkbind.onmax.me/mcp/claude. No account or sign-in is needed.
3. In a conversation, ask for the book: "Turn the story we just wrote into a hardcover book called Lucía and the Dragon."

What it can do

• layout_book lays the text out as a book of at least 32 pages with a title page and dedication, and shows a page-by-page preview. With a book_id it changes only the fields you pass.
• list_formats_and_prices returns the formats, delivery times and totals for a country, shipping included. It changes nothing.
• create_print_order creates an unpaid order and returns a link to inkbind.onmax.me, where you enter the delivery address and pay with Stripe in your browser. No tool takes payment details or charges anything.
• get_order_status returns the status of an order and tracking once it ships. It changes nothing.

Pictures

Claude can't pass pictures from the conversation to a connector. Each result has an editor link on inkbind.onmax.me where you upload your pictures, swap them and fix the text. Inkbind doesn't generate images; it prints the text and pictures you provide.

Limits

• Square 8.5-inch books only, one design per order, up to 10 copies to one address.
• Delivery only to the US, Canada, the UK and the EU.
• No ISBN, bookshop distribution or finished print PDFs.
• Characters owned by others (Disney, Pokémon and similar) can't be printed.

Troubleshooting

• The preview doesn't appear: the result still contains a link to the editor, which shows the same pages.
• "Order not found": check the code; it looks like IB-XXXXXXX and is on your order page and in your confirmation email.
• A picture is too small: the editor tells you which picture would print blurry. Upload a larger version.

Privacy and support

Inkbind stores the book's text and pictures to lay it out and print it, and deletes them 90 days after delivery. Books that are never ordered are deleted after 90 days. Details: privacy policy, terms. Questions: inkbind@onmax.me.
